Solutions Engineer / Technical Support Engineer – AI (Python)

We’re partnering with a fast-growing AI company that has become the industry reference point for benchmarking and evaluating artificial intelligence models. Their analysis is trusted by leading AI labs, enterprises, investors, and global media when comparing the performance of modern AI systems.
They are now hiring a Solutions Engineer / Technical Support Engineer to help operate and manage their AI benchmarking pipelines. If you enjoy solving technical problems, working with Python, and collaborating with engineers building frontier AI systems, this role offers a unique vantage point into the rapidly evolving AI landscape.
About the Company
This company builds independent benchmarks that measure how AI systems perform across the entire AI stack — from language models to image and video generation.
Their benchmarking platform is widely referenced by the industry and used by major AI labs when evaluating and launching new models. The team works closely with many of the organisations pushing AI forward today.
The Role
This is a technical and client-facing role focused on operating the systems that evaluate AI models. You’ll manage benchmarking workflows, analyse results, troubleshoot issues, and work directly with AI companies to help them understand how their models perform.
The position combines:
Python-based technical workflows
debugging and operational ownership
communication with engineers at leading AI labs
What You’ll Be Doing
• Running benchmarking workflows for image and video generation models
• Managing evaluation pipelines and monitoring benchmark runs
• Analysing results and validating benchmark outputs
• Investigating anomalies or unexpected results in the data
• Communicating findings and methodology to AI model providers
• Helping ensure the benchmarking process remains reliable and consistent
What They’re Looking For
• ~3+ years in a technical, client-facing engineering role (support engineering, solutions engineering, developer support, technical consulting etc.)
• Comfortable working with Python
• Strong written communication and ability to explain technical concepts clearly
• Detail-oriented and process-driven
• Interest in AI systems and how they are evaluated
Experience working with machine learning systems or AI tools is beneficial but not essential.

Compensation
• Base salary: $100k – $150k
• Equity package included
