Why this brief was hard
Cisilion is growing fast. With Microsoft revenues up 36% and their Cisco practice surging 51%, they needed experienced commercial talent to fuel the next phase of growth. The challenge was not the opportunity — it was the market. The IT channel sales talent pool in London is finite, and by the time Ikuto was engaged it had already been contacted from multiple directions. Candidates had been approached by several agencies simultaneously, and the Cisilion name had become noise before a single meaningful conversation had been had.
Our Approach
How we tackled it
Ikuto proposed an exclusive retained search. We took sole ownership of the brief and ran a controlled, coordinated outreach programme — no parallel agency activity, every message researched and written for the individual receiving it. Each shortlisted candidate was directed to a bespoke digital deal room built specifically for Cisilion, giving them full context on the opportunity, the culture, and the commercial model before they ever set foot in Heron Tower. Before any candidate was presented to the hiring team, they completed a structured video interview with Dave or Josh directly. Clips were shared with the Cisilion team so they had a genuine feel for each person before committing diary time.
